Importing Demo Content

Install and activate these required and recommended plugins before you proceed: Required and recommended plugins can be found in WP Admin > Appearance > Install Plugins

After installing the required and recommended plugins. Import Custom Post Type UI and Advanced Custom Fields Settings otherwise full demo content will not be imported.

Custom Post Type UI Settings

Import Post Types Settings

1. Navigate to CPT UI > Tools
2. Select Post Types Tab.
3. Open and copy the JSON code from the file cpt-post-type.json from wp-content/themes/realome/demo/ or you can download cpt-post-type.json here.
4. When you click the Import button, CPT UI will import the Post Types.

Import Taxonomies Settings

1. Navigate to CPT UI > Tools
2. Select Taxonomies Tab.
3. Open and copy the JSON code from the file cpt-taxonomies.json from wp-content/themes/realome/demo/ or you can download cpt-taxonomies.json here.
4. When you click the Import button, CPT UI will import the taxonomies.

Advanced Custom Fields

1. Navigate to Custom Fields > Tools
2. Select the acf-export.json from wp-content/themes/realome/demo/ or you can download acf-export.json here.
3. When you click the Import button, ACF will import the field groups.

Importing Demo Content using XML

We have included the exported XML file from our demo, this allows you to quickly set up your theme the same way our demo is set up. You can download Demo XML here.

Step 1 - Navigate to WP Admin -> Tools -> Import.

Step 2 - Select and install WordPress importer.

Step 3 - Select the XML file and upload it. It will in few minutes to install and upload all content with images.

Step 4 - Next, navigate to WP Admin -> Settings -> Reading Settings and set a front page and a posts page.
